Legacies WHO IS A LEGACY? Granddaughters, daughters, sisters or the same step-relations of Delta Gamma members are considered Delta Gamma legacies. It's never too early to tell your legacy about the important role Delta Gamma plays in your life. We want to encourage Delta Gammas to introduce their legacies to our Fraternity and its many opportunities for sisterhood, scholarship, leadership and service. Learn more about sponsoring a legacy going through recruitment. The Anchor Girl program enables Delta Gamma collegians and alumnae to register their legacies under the age of 16. By joining the program, your Anchor Girl can get hooked on DG at an early age! She will receive an Anchor Girl gift and you'll receive access to special resources for legacies. LEGACY & COLLEGIAN HOLIDAY TEA Each year in December, we honor our local legacies, San Antonio collegians and their mothers at an elegant Holiday Tea. Typically held in December, we gather at the home of one of our alumnae to celebrate the season and to welcome our legacies, collegians and their mothers. If your daughter or sister is 12 years old or older, please let us know so that we can extend a special invitation to her. This annual event has become a cherished tradition for our Alamo City Delta Gammas and we hope to see you there.
