ZH House Corporation News Spring 2010
Greetings from the Zeta Eta Chapter House Corporation. Wow, this has been an exciting few months. At the writing of our last newsletter, we were starting the search for a property and now we own one! I am still afraid someone will pinch me to wake me up. I hope you have received the emails with photos of the property, it is amazing! We are having the land cleared, fire sprinklers installed, electrical work done, and the list goes on and on. By the time the ladies of the chapter move in, sometime in August, the house will be perfectly suited for their purposes. This purchase would not have been possible without the help of several ladies in our chapter and their families. Eleven of our local ladies, and two from other cities, purchased CDs in amounts from $4000 to $20,000 and pledged them to our loan. In addition to the CDs, there were three generous donors who supported this effort with their contributions. Without the assistance of these ladies, we could never have been able to complete this deal. We are still accepting donations because there is still so much to be done, so please contact me if you have questions or would like to help. Our annual house corporation meeting will once again follow Founders Day on March 6. All members of ZH House Corporation are invited to attend. This meeting provides us with the opportunity to present the budget and discuss other important matters related to the corporation. Your input is valued, so if you are a member, please try to attend. I look forward to the opportunity to show each of you this lovely home. Hopefully we can have a collumnae event there in the near future, with many of our San Antonio Alumnae Chapter members in attendance. Thanks for all your help! In the bonds,
